Position Type: Part-Time, Temporary Job Title: Banking and Finance I Agentic Designer Effective Date: 12/4/2025 Reports To: Director of Design, Development, & Project ManagementContract Length: January - December, 2026 Job Summary: The Virtual Arkansas Agentic Designer independently scripts, designs, and develops high-quality digital curriculum content while strategically using AI tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and creativity. This role blends the responsibilities of a Content Designer and Content Developer, providing end-to-end ownership of course creation. The Agentic Designer ensures all content meets Virtual Arkansas standards for accessibility, mastery learning, copyright compliance, and branding. Supervisory Responsibilities: NoneDuties/Responsibilities: Collaborate with specialists, agencies, and developers in a phased approach for producing quality digital curriculum content appropriate to the assigned course according to state content standards or other applicable content standardsUse AI tools to generate, refine, and revise lesson scripts, assessments, learning objects, media descriptions, and support materialsCurate and create accessible, copyright-compliant digital contentParticipate in collaborative team meetings and professional development for personal growth and skill acquisition related to project needsIndependently build all course content into the LMS, using AI-assisted workflows where appropriateApply research-based instructional design, usability, and accessibility best practices throughout the design and development processAttend course planning and design meetings, whether virtual or face-to-facePay close attention to detail and review all content, including AI output, to ensure accuracy, appropriateness, and legality of contentServe as a student-perspective reviewer to ensure clarity, usability, and engagementPrioritize and adapt to meet required deadlinesAbide by all Virtual Arkansas and applicable Arch Ford ESC policies and/or regulationsOther duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities: Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skillsProficiency in using digital tools, LMS environments, and AI-assisted design platformsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailEfficient time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesAbility to learn and adapt to new and emerging technologies, including AI systemsAbility to evaluate and refine AI-generated content Education, Experience, and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (minimum); Master's degree desiredThree years of blended/online teaching experience is desiredOnline course development and design experience is desiredDemonstrates high-quality verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrates creative writing and research abilitiesTeacher Licensure for the requested content area and grade levelExperience with AI tools for content creation, planning, or development preferred (training provided)Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerPeriodic travel requirementsSit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouchUse hands to handle or feel, type, and pick up objects, and reach with hands and arms;Talk or hear to communicate effectivelyFrequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 poundsOther Information:This position will be hired through the Arch Ford Education CooperativeTelework from home officeCompensation: $10,000 minus applicable taxes, retirement, and fees
