This position offers a mix of weekday surgical coverage and shared call responsibilities in a well-supported inpatient environment.This opportunity is ideal for surgeons experienced in complex cardiothoracic procedures who are looking for consistent monthly coverage in a collaborative surgical program.Position Highlights• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM• Call: Weeknight call rotation and every other weekend• Setting: Inpatient hospital setting• Minimum Commitment: 2 weeks per month• Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 60–90 daysClinical ResponsibilitiesThe physician will provide surgical care and inpatient coverage for cardiothoracic patients, including:• Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)• Aortic and Mitral Valve Replacement or Repair• Ascending Aortic Root Procedures• Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)• Lung and Lobectomy Procedures• MediastinoscopyRobotic surgery experience is preferred but not required.Call Responsibilities• Shared weeknight call rotation• Every other weekend call with rounding responsibilities• Call rotation schedule coordinated among providersPractice Details• Practice Setting: Inpatient surgical program• EMR System: Epic• Collaborative surgical team and support staffRequirements• Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery• ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association)• Active Pennsylvania medical license strongly preferred• Experience performing advanced cardiothoracic proceduresIdeal Candidate• Experienced in complex cardiothoracic surgical procedures• Comfortable managing inpatient surgical cases and call coverage• Strong team collaboration and patient care skillsThis is a great opportunity for an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeon seeking a structured locum assignment with a diverse surgical case mix.Apply today to learn more about this opportunity.About Lancesoft IncLancesoft Inc is a trusted healthcare staffing agency specializing in both locum tenens and permanent placements.
