JP Logistics & Consulting LLC (JPLC) is looking for a full-time Supply Specialist II to support the EAGLE contract at Fort Gordon, GA, in support of Maintenance, Supply, and Transportation.Location / Place of performance:Fort Gordon GAStart Date: TBDSalary: $26.69Hours of Operation: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PMJob Summary:Under direct Supervision. The Supply Specialist II is primarily responsible for performing tasks involving the order, receipt, and delivery of supplies, upkeep, and maintenance of all Army supplies and equipment. Process and segregate receipts, and operate the Central Receiving Point (CRP), utilize handheld terminals and automated systems as applicable, implement causative research and adjustment documents, provide customer assistance, perform data cleansing, and assist with required inventories, process warehouse denials, turn-ins, and maintain hand receipt files of temporary loans. Tasks also include: complying with year-end and close-out actions, discrepancy reports, and stock readiness.Essential Functions:Orders, receives, inspects, inventories, loads, unloads, segregates, stores, issues, delivers, and turns in supplies and equipment.Maintains voucher register for Found on Installation Items.Determines method and location of storage considering temperature, humidity, height, and weight, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space. Mark articles with identifying codes, figures, or letters.Performs cyclic and/or special inventories and investigates discrepancies.Receives, issues, stores, safeguards, inventories, ships, and disposes of sensitive items.Administers the cross-leveling, replenishment, and redistribution of excess property as it relates to local, depot, and other supply activities.• Reviews stock levels and adjusts based on demand and known requirements.Informs item managers of problems, issues, and actions to achieve resolution.Performs research on customer requisitions to determine whether to purchase or dispostion of by reviewing data in applicable publications.Prepares monthly and quarterly supply reports per contractual and regulatory requirements.Verifies authorized material is shipped to the Defense Logistics Agency or off-post as needed.Coordinates DLA-DS Transportation.Post transactions.Performs other related duties as assigned.Qualifications:Two years of experience in military supply. Practical experience using Military Logistics Information Systems (LIS). Intermediate data entry experience. Desired: Advanced data entry experience.Must be able to read and comprehend military publications and apply requirements to job duties.Must be proficient in the use of computers and MS Office Software. Desired: Advanced use of MS Office software.Possess a valid state driver's license. Certified in LIS. May be required to be licensed to operate government-provided vehicles and/or equipment.Obtain a favorable security clearance and/or a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). Must be able to obtain a CAC.Education:High school graduate, GED, or equivalent.
