Seasonal Merchandiser

Reporting to the Sales TeamManager, the Seasonal Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring theaccount level merchandising activities are fully executed and allfront-line marketing tactics are utilized at the point of purchase. You\'ll learn about our variousdivisions, portfolios, brands, and sales technology. \* This is aseasonal/summer position that will work approximately 40 hours per weekover a 12-week time period, approximately mid-May through August andwill service the Eastern MA territory. Key Accountabilities: Maximizedistribution of products sold by Quality Beverage in all applicableaccounts Develop strong professional relationships with all customers atall times Build high-impact displays for our portfolio of products inappropriate accounts Maintain physical inventory and fill coolers at keyretail accounts Assist with account level activations associated withsupplier assigned goals Monitor & communicate competitive activity as itrelates to sales & marketing Provide support for sales promotions andspecial events (includes nights and weekends) Comply with all legalGuidelines, Safety Requirements And Quality Beverage Company Standardsand policies Responsible for assisting in the daily upkeep of the POCMwarehouse Responsible for daily paperwork and the proper completion ofall Martignetti documents Work with sales team and organization toensure the highest level of customer service. Identify opportunities forand place permanent point of connection material such as neon signs,clocks, and other signs in on and off premise accounts Work with andsupport sales staff on cooler resets in retail accounts Ensure all POCMis properly themed and current Monitor and rotate all close codedproduct, monitor breakage and damaged packages Knowledge and safeoperation of various power equipment Create and print basic signage forretail accounts Complete any and all miscellaneous duties as assigned bysupervisor Full Time Monday - Friday with occasional evening and weekendevents and activities Requirements Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Cancommunicate clearly, both verbally and in writing Excited to learn aboutour brands and products Willing to work flexible hours when neededCapable of working independently and taking initiative. Self-motivatedand enthusiastic, ready to contribute to the team\'s successEducation/Experience/Training: High School Diploma or equivalent isrequired Valid Massachusetts driver\'s license, registration, and safedriving record Applicants must be at least 21 years of age in compliancewith applicable alcohol handling regulations and company policy VehicleCapable Of Transporting POS Materials Physical Demands And EnvironmentRegularly lift objects up to 25 pounds and up to 40 pounds occasionallyHang merchandise materials sometimes requiring the use of power toolsExpect to be on your feet a lot, either standing or walking throughoutthe day Requires a good amount of mental focus to handle complex tasksthat need concentrated effort and attention to detail Includes traveland facing various weather conditions when visiting customers,prospects, or vendors Potential for accidents due to road travel,including traffic incidents, delivery of goods, or the setup ofdisplays, so staying alert and careful is important
