Those that are successful in this role possess the ability to remain calm in stressful situations, take initiative, and maintain professional boundaries.Job Duties:Work alongside and report directly to Program DirectorGrocery shop for the week and create weekly menus to be approved by Program DirectorPut together healthy, nutritious, teen-friendly meals for 6 adolescent clients in residential treatmentPrepare, plate, and serve morning and afternoon snacks, lunch, and dinner Monday – FridayMeal prep for the weekendsMeet with clients upon admission to learn about client allergies, food restrictions, or preferencesMeet with clients once weekly to review weekly menuEnsure kitchen is in compliance with accreditation, licensing, and program standardsManage a monthly budget for all food and culinary expensesRequirements: Must have at least 2 years of culinary experienceMust be over the age of 21Must be able to keep the kitchen clean, sanitary, and organized at all timesMust possess the ability to multi-task and coordinate productively with other team membersMust be punctualMust understand the importance of working collaboratively with supervisors, management, and colleaguesMust exude a respectful and professional demeanor and demonstrate appropriate boundaries with clientsHours Monday - Friday 10 am - 6:30 pmPayrate: $27 - $29/hourBenefits:Health Insurance, Dental, 401kPTO, Sick, and HolidaysFlexible Spending Accounts (FSA)/Healthcare Flexible Spending Accounts (HSA)Our employees voted us as a certified Great Place to WorkTo be considered for this role, we ask that you complete the following assessment, as a token of our appreciation you will be given a summary of the personalized assessment outlining your strengths that'll assist in your job search.
