Job Title: Frontend developer Location: Pittsburgh PA, Dallas TX Duration: Full-timeKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and optimize responsive web applications using Angular (v8+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX designers, backend developers, and business analysts to translate requirements into high-quality frontend solutionsImplement reusable UI components, follow best practices, and ensure adherence to PNC's secure coding and UX standardsIntegrate RESTful APIs and ensure smooth communication between frontend and backend servicesParticipate in code reviews, debugging sessions, and continuous improvement activitiesOptimize performance and ensure web applications meet accessibility and cross-browser compatibility standardsContribute to architectural decisions and technical documentationRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field equivalent experience)7+ years of professional experience in front-end developmentStrong proficiency in Angular (version 8 or higher) and TypeScriptSolid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, and responsive design principlesExperience with RESTful APIs, RxJS, and state management libraries (e.g., NgRx)Familiarity with Git, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and CI/CD pipelinesStrong problem-solving and communication skillsPreferred SkillsExperience with UI frameworks such as Angular Material or BootstrapFamiliarity with accessibility standards (WCAG/ARIA)Exposure to financial domain applications or large enterprise systemsUnderstanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerized deployments
