Lamination Department Manager

Job Description Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM (with flexibility as needed)Location: On-siteOverviewWe are seeking a hands-on Lamination Department Manager to lead daily operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing production, scheduling, team leadership, and material flow across lamination and PUR lines.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to the floor, developing teams, and driving efficiency and production performance.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily operations of the lamination and PUR production linesManage schedules for hourly employees and a department leadEnsure raw materials are available and production is set up for successTrack, report, and communicate department metrics using an ERP systemPartner with cross-functional teams and warehouse staff to manage material flowLead, train, mentor, and develop team membersIdentify and communicate any material or production issuesComplete cycle counts and support inventory accuracyParticipate in operations and leadership meetingsQualifications3+ years of experience in lamination, printing, or a related manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of lamination and/or printing processesAbility to troubleshoot minor equipment or process issuesProven leadership experience supervising frontline employeesStrong organizational and multitasking skillsEffective communication skills across teams and departmentsWork EnvironmentThis role operates in a manufacturing setting with exposure to heat, noise, machinery, and production materials. Office areas are climate controlled.
