Job Title: VP of Human ResourcesLocation: Sterling, VAIndustry: Construction / ManufacturingType: Direct HireCompensation: $160,000 – $180,000Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k)About the Opportunity:Our client is a fast-growing, multi-site organization operating across fabrication, field operations, and corporate functions. They are seeking a senior HR executive who can both shape strategy and remain hands-on in execution while supporting a dynamic, field-driven workforce.This is a highly visible leadership role reporting directly to executive leadership, with responsibility for building scalable HR infrastructure and driving people strategy during a period of significant growth.What You'll Do:• Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning and organizational design• Lead all HR operations including employee relations, compliance, payroll coordination, and benefits administration• Drive full-cycle recruiting across skilled trades and corporate roles• Build and enhance engagement, onboarding, training, and development programs• Oversee performance management across field and office teams• Champion a culture rooted in safety, accountability, and operational excellence• Manage HR systems, vendors, and multi-site HR processes• Lead, develop, and scale the HR team and supporting infrastructureWhat We're Looking For:• 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience• Background in construction, manufacturing, industrial, or skilled trades strongly preferred• Strong business acumen with the ability to partner across all levels of leadership• Proven success driving employee engagement and retention initiatives• Experience building and scaling HR functions and infrastructure• Comfortable engaging field-level employees through executive leadership• Ability to manage complexity and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment• UKG and multi-state HR experience strongly preferred• Strong LinkedIn recruiting experience requiredAdditional Details:• Fully onsite, Monday–Friday• High-visibility role with direct executive exposure and partnershipAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
