Senior Director, FP&A – E-Commerce (Apparel)We’re partnering with a fast-growing eCommerce apparel business to hire a Senior Director of FP&A to lead financial strategy for a $30–$40M P&L. This role reports directly to the VP of Finance & Accounting and will own forecasting, performance analytics, and strategic decision support across the business.This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role for someone who understands how financial performance connects to eCommerce operations, inventory flow, and digital revenue drivers.Location: Secaucus, NJ (5 days onsite)Compensation: $180K – $210K base + bonusThe roleYou will serve as the financial leader for the eCommerce business, owning the P&L and partnering closely with merchandising, marketing, supply chain, and leadership to drive profitable growth.This role is suited for someone who has operated in a product-driven, inventory-heavy eCommerce environment and can translate data into actionable business decisions.Key responsibilitiesP&L leadership and revenue forecastingOwn a $30–$40M eCommerce P&LLead annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-range planningBuild and refine revenue forecasts using key drivers such as traffic, conversion, AOV, and promotionsManage margins, returns, discounts, and overall sales qualityE-commerce and digital performancePartner with marketing and eCommerce teams to evaluate ROI across paid search, paid social, affiliate, and performance channelsProvide insights on customer acquisition, retention, and channel efficiencySupport pricing and promotional strategies through financial modelingInventory, distribution, and controlsPartner with Planning and Supply Chain on inventory forecasting and controlsAnalyze SKU-level performance, sell-through, and inventory productivityAlign financial forecasts with inbound and outbound distribution activityCost optimization and operational efficiencyIdentify and drive cost optimization opportunities across the P&LAnalyze operating expenses, fulfillment costs, and organizational spendSupport headcount planning and resource allocation with leadershipFinancial modeling and decision supportBuild financial models to support strategic initiatives and investmentsDeliver scenario analysis on growth strategies, marketing spend, and inventory decisionsMaintain visibility into risks and opportunities to guide leadership decisionsReporting and executive communicationLead monthly and quarterly reporting, including variance analysis and KPI trackingPrepare and deliver management presentationsTranslate complex financial data into clear, actionable insightsProcess improvement and systemsImprove forecasting accuracy and reporting efficiencyDrive automation and scalability across FP&A processesAct as a finance lead for systems and data structure, including SAPWhat we’re looking for10+ years of FP&A, strategic finance, or corporate finance experienceDeep eCommerce or direct-to-consumer experience, ideally within apparel or consumer productsProven ownership of a P&L, including revenue forecasting, margin management, and cost controlStrong experience with inventory-driven business models and sales distributionExpertise in SKU-level analysis, sell-through, and assortment performanceExperience analyzing and optimizing digital marketing spend and ROIStrong understanding of inventory controls and working capitalAdvanced Excel and financial modeling skillsAbility to operate as a business partner across finance and operationsWhy this roleDirect ownership of a meaningful and growing eCommerce P&LHigh visibility with executive leadershipOpportunity to influence growth strategy and operational performanceHands-on role with real impact across the businessIf you have a strong eCommerce finance background and are looking for a role where you can directly influence revenue, inventory strategy, and profitability, this is a compelling opportunity to step into a leadership position with real ownership.
