Job DescriptionExpected Starting Salary Range: 21.21 - 25.86/hrFulltime 40 hours per weekMonday - Friday daytime hoursThis job will be 100% on-site for at least the first year. After the first year, there will be some hybrid flexibility (3 days in office, 2 at home).SUBFUNCTION DEFINITION: Act as the central point of contact in the support, direction, and successful delivery of 2 programs and their objectives. Programs are ongoing activities working toward a mission with no specified end date or an end date that is defined as being many years into the future (as in the case of a long-term grant program).Main ResponsibilitiesEfficiently scheduling patients for appointments with five providers, including outpatient visits, procedures, and surgeries.Participating in meetings for two specialty programs, ensuring accurate documentation as the note keeper/recorder.Tracking patient information and coordinating pre-visit testing to streamline the care process.Handling prior authorizations for insurance and facilitating second opinion referrals to support comprehensive patient care pathways.Additional ResponsibilitiesCoordinate logistical aspects related to the two assigned programs, including meetings, conferences, and appointments.Organize program-specific responsibilities such as patient records maintenance and budget monitoring.Provide administrative support for all program-related matters, including report preparation and communication.Coordinate projects to assess, develop, or implement initiatives of the assigned program.May provide training and represent the program at meetings.Coordinate logistical aspects related to the two assigned programs, including meetings, conferences, and appointments.Organize program-specific responsibilities such as patient records maintenance and budget monitoring.Serve as a resource for appointment setting and follow-up to accommodate patient and family needs.Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely services sensitive to family needs.Support clinical program operations and maintain accurate records on patients and program operations.Coordinate database management and ensure data integrity.Track data related to process improvement and outcomes research activities.Create and run management reports and provide support for education offerings related to clinical programs.QualificationsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCERequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent3-5 years of work experience in a related job disciplinePreferred1-2 years of Epic experience1-2 years of patient access experience - ideally schedulingBasic proficiency in Excel - data entry/manipulationCincinnati Children's is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer that values and treasures Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
