What we're looking for in our ideal candidate: Flexibility and reliability Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail A deep familiarity with and passion for fashion, designers, brands, and materials A fun, positive, and helpful attitude that creates an enjoyable shopping experience for our customers Drive to increase sales while delivering authentic and personalized service Familiarity with retail POS systems or confidence in quickly learning to use them Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs., and use step stools and ladders for inventory retrieval Personable, outgoing, and self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve goals Efficient work ethic to meet daily objectives Computer proficiency, particularly with Google programs Previous experience in retail and apparel Your daily responsibilities will include: Prioritizing exceptional customer service above all other tasks at all times Welcoming customers with a friendly and helpful demeanor, understanding their needs and style preferences to assist them in finding the perfect items Learning and effectively conveying information about our products, procedures, policies, and services, while making informed decisions and seeking assistance when needed Proficiency in operating a retail POS system and mastering our online and storefront inventory management systems Efficiently multitasking to handle various responsibilities Receiving consignor merchandise, tagging new arrivals, and maintaining back room organization Inspecting garments for wear, taking precise measurements and descriptions, and inputting data into our online software to meet daily goals for online product postings Pulling, packing, and shipping merchandise for online orders Utilizing product photography skills to capture and edit high-quality images of clothing and accessories, using digital cameras and basic photo editing software (or willingness to learn) Performing tasks such as steaming clothing, dressing mannequins for photography, organizing and hanging merchandise, and maintaining a clean and appealing shop environment Job Type: Part-time Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week Benefits: Employee discount Shift: 8 hour shift Day shift Application Question(s): Can you work weekends?
