Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hourJob description:Our Make Ready's are essential team members that maintain the apartment units.The Make Ready is responsible for performing general maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping services to ensure excellent curb appeal and quality of apartment homes, and responding to customer service requests .As a Make Ready Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that vacant apartment units are thoroughly cleaned, painted, and repaired before they are leased to new residents. You will work closely with the maintenance team and report to the Property Manager to ensure that all make-ready tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.Key Responsibilities:Inspect vacant apartment units and create a make-ready checklistPaint walls, trim, and ceilings to ensure a fresh, clean lookInstall and repair light fixtures, switches, and outletsReplace damaged flooring and repair or replace appliancesClean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areasReplace window screens, blinds, and curtain rodsMaintain an inventory of supplies and equipment needed for make-ready tasksReport any safety hazards or needed repairs to the Property ManagerCommunicate with vendors, contractors, and other team members as neededHOURS OF WORK:A. All full-time associates are expected to work 40 hours per week. Every company member must complete a daily on-line time clock system.B. The Porter may be asked to provide backup emergency response even when they are not the primary “on-call” associate.C. This position may require weekend and holiday hours, depending upon the requirements of the community.
