Data Center TechnicianLocation: 320 Saint Paul PI, Baltimore MD 21202 (On-site)Duration: 3 MonthPay rate : $25 to $30hr on w2**********************Need local only Location: 320 Saint Paul PI, Baltimore MD 21202 (On-site)Position Overview:Equipment & Rack RemovalUninstall lab equipment from test bays and staging areasUnbolt and dismantle 2-post and 4-post racksAssist with removing cabinets and preparing equipment for internal disposal workflowsCable Mining and Subfloor CleanupIdentify and remove unused/abandoned cabling from the raised floor (plenum) spaceTrace disconnected cable runs as far as practical (i.e. until an obstruction is met or until the cable enters a live cabinet) and remove safelyWork row-by-row through the lab environment to systematically clean sectionsSeparate inactive cabling from live cabling without disrupting active systemsAsset Handling and Documentation SupportPlace decommissioned equipment onto pallets for client internal asset disposal processAssist with basic tracking of serial numbers, where required (minimal scanning/accounting)- Target up to 100 assets permonth at a minimum.Remove unused or marked for removal peripheral equipment from the Lab floor space and store it on pallets.Remove Cardboard boxes off the Lab floor space.Documenting of before and after of clean up areas with pictures and in written documentation format.Documenting of assets that are going to be disposed.
