Position DetailsPosition InformationPosition Title Perkins EMT and Paramedic Learning Assistant Pay Grade Level G-10 LA FLSA Non-Exempt BenefitsMichigan Public School Employees Retirement SystemsDepartment Allied Health Campus Location Escanaba Min Salary $17.96 Max Salary $21.13 FTE50SummaryFull-time/Part-time Part-Time Position Type Temporary Job Summary/Basic FunctionThe primary responsibility of this grant-funded, temporary position is to provide academic assistance to EMT & Paramedic students.Minimum QualificationsPossess a current State of Michigan EMT or Paramedic LicenseCandidate must be committed to student retention and success and display exceptional interpersonal and team-working skillsPreferred QualificationsPreference to candidates with experience in individual and group mentoring and tutoring, and/or teaching.Preference to Bay College EMT/Paramedic graduatesExperience working as an EMT or paramedic for a Life Support AgencyExperience as an Instructor CoordinatorBachelor’s degree in EMT/Paramedic or a related fieldMonths Per Year Hours Worked Per Week TBD Work Schedule Schedule to be set with supervisor prior to start of semester; schedule may vary on student need and availability.
