The CIPP Lateral Construction Superintendent is responsible for the direct supervision and management of a crew of 3-4 employees in an assigned area. You'll supervise the operation and maintenance of equipment and evaluate work areas to determine the type of work required and materials to be used. This position will recommend and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and product quality.Starting pay is $28.00-$35.00 per hour dependent upon experience. With enough experience, you may be able to negotiate a higher starting rate or salary. You will also receive a Company Vehicle and Quarterly Incentive Program. Why You'll Love Working For Us:Competitive salaryDaily per diem while traveling100% covered individual hotel room stays while travelingFull benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage401k matchingTuition assistancePaid time off and Overtime PayCompany paid PPE, boots, and safety gearCareer growth opportunities Work for a forward-thinking and innovative companyEcological footprint - We are rehabbing the world's infrastructure, one pipe at a time, with minimal disruption to people's daily routines, with little wasteWhat You'll Do:Coordinate production schedules with General Superintendent or Operations Manager and report/estimate worker hour requirements for completion of job assignmentCoordinate with General Superintendent and/or Operations manager regarding tools and materials needed to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedulesCoordinate with Equipment Manager to ensure all pieces of equipment are in working order and/or have proper time for repairsFacilitate internal project meetings with Superintendents, Field Engineer(s) and appropriate sub-contractors to make necessary changes and finalize the work scheduleInterpret and enforce company policies as applied to employees and enforce safety regulations, standard operating procedures and quality standardsConduct weekly safety/toolbox meetingsInterpret job order requirements and instruct Foreman on how to fulfill the job ordersPromptly resolve any customer complaintsAnalyze and resolve work problems that arise on the crewHold crew accountable for attendance, paperwork submission and professionalismEvaluate staffing needs and schedule work two weeks in advance, notifying crew employees of schedule and coordinating travel arrangementsManage crew performance and implement discipline as neededMeet or exceed as-bid gross margin on jobsBuild bench strength on crew to cross-train and provide for succession planningWhat We Need From You:High School diploma or equivalent preferredPrior experience working in the CIPP industry is requiredThree years related industry experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience required; Experience as a Foreman preferredMust have working knowledge of computer and web-based programsValid driver's license required with clean motor vehicle reportMust possess a Class A or B CDL and be aligned with BLD Services, LLC. motor vehicle standards (Hazmat endorsement is preferred but not required)Must be able to wear respirator and body harness while entering confined spacesAbility to lift/move up to 75 pounds and use pneumatic, battery powered or electric toolsComfortable working outside at job sites with moving vehicles and mechanical operations, with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particlesMust be able to travel weekly (potentially out of state)We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
