Job DescriptionChemical Blender- 1st Shift Urgently Hiring Hours: 5:00am-3:30 (Monday-Thursday) Overview: In this position you are responsible for preparing tanks, obtaining materials necessary for production batches and following instructions to complete batches. Good organizational skills, attention to details and adherence to all safety procedures will help you advance within this company.Job Duties:Assist Batchmaker as necessaryAccurately weigh raw materialsCollect necessary raw materials and change cans for production batchesUnderstand and interpret instructions on production ordersSet up and tear down of equipment for the various production processesReturn raw materials to appropriate storage locationsDelivering samples of each batch to Quality ControlSafely and efficiently clean empty drums, filler bags, garbage and recycling materialsKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:Good organizational skills and attention to detail.Deadline orientedAbility to prioritize and work independentlyBasic computer skillsPossesses average mathematical skillsAbility to lift 60 pounds regularlyFollows established safety procedures, performs duties in a safe manner and identifies areas for improvementMust be able to bend, twist and lift in awkward positionsExcellent communication skills: ability to read, write and speak EnglishSpecial Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentForklift experience preferred, but not necessaryChemical handling experience preferred, but not necessaryMust have a driver's licenseAbility to wear a respirator long term is necessaryThis position is fast-paced and physically demandingBenefits:Medical, Dental, Vision, School Tuition - After 90 days from hire401K (25% up to 15% of wages)Typical Work Hours: 5:00 AM 3:30 PM Monday Thursday, some Fridays (No Weekends).Paid time off: starting after the first year worked, 10 days.
