Electrician Technician
Job SummaryInstall, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial, retail, industrial, or residential environments while ensuring compliance with UK electrical regulations and safety standards.ResponsibilitiesInstall, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment.Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and breakdowns.Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.Conduct planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.Test and certify electrical installations where applicable.Ensure compliance with BS 7671 Wiring Regulations and health & safety requirements.Maintain accurate service and maintenance records. Required QualificationsNVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.Minimum 2 years of hands-on electrical installation or maintenance experience.Ability to read electrical drawings and technical schematics.Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
