Headquartered in Minneapolis, MN, SMACKIN' is driven by a passionate team focused on redefining the snacking industry.SMACKIN is hiring a Head of Growth to own and execute our paid media strategy across channels. This person will be directly responsible for building, launching, managing, optimizing, and scaling campaigns. This is not a “big-picture only” leadership role. This is a hands-on operator role for someone who lives in the ad accounts, understands performance creative, and knows how to turn media buying into profitable growth. You will oversee all paid ads execution, but you must also be the one pushing the buttons. No outsourcing. No hiding behind agencies. No passing work off to vendors. You will own performance.This role is ideal for someone who is both strategic and highly tactical. Someone who can zoom out, see the full funnel, and then go into the account and make the changes themselves.What You’ll OwnFull ownership of paid media strategy and execution across Meta, TikTok, Google, YouTube, and other paid acquisition channelsDaily in-platform campaign management, optimization, budget allocation, testing, and scalingCreative testing strategy in partnership with internal creative teamBuilding and managing campaign structure, audiences, bids, placements, attribution analysis, and reportingDriving customer acquisition while improving efficiency, contribution margin, and paybackDeveloping testing roadmaps for hooks, offers, landing pages, formats, angles, and audience segmentsIdentifying scale opportunities across prospecting, retargeting, retention, and full-funnel media strategyWorking cross-functionally with ecommerce, creative, partnerships, and leadership to align growth efforts with launches, promotions, and product dropsMonitoring and reporting on CAC, MER, ROAS, AOV, LTV, CVR, and other key business metricsTurning insights into action quickly without needing layers of approval or outside supportWhat We’re Looking For5+ years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or paid media buyingProven experience scaling paid social and digital acquisition for an ecommerce or consumer brandDeep hands-on expertise in Meta Ads Manager is requiredStrong hands-on experience in TikTok Ads and Google Ads is strongly preferredYou have personally managed and scaled significant monthly ad spendYou are highly analytical and know how to diagnose performance issues fastYou understand what makes direct response creative work and how paid media and creative work togetherYou can build strategy, but you are also fully comfortable executing every part of it yourselfYou do not rely on agencies to do the real workYou thrive in fast-moving environments and are energized by accountabilityYou care about winning, not just reportingBonus if you have experience in CPG, food/beverage, or high-growth consumer brandsWhat Success Looks LikePaid media becomes a true growth engine for the businessCreative testing becomes faster, sharper, and more tied to actual business resultsAcquisition scales without losing discipline on efficiencyYou know the numbers cold and can explain what is happening, why it is happening, and what needs to changeSMACKIN grows because you are making smart decisions inside the accounts every dayWho You AreOperator firstCompetitiveHigh ownershipFast-movingStrong taste in creativeObsessed with performanceNot afraid of pressureNot interested in outsourcing your jobWhy Join SMACKIN' This is a chance to help build a category-defining brand.
