Job Description Job Title: Patent Prosecution Paralegal Location: San Diego CA 92130Salary/Payrate: $110K-$135K annually (OT Eligible) and AWESOME benefits!!!Work Environment:  3 days onsite / 2 days WFHTerm: Permanent / Fulltime Parking: FreeBachelor's degree required:  NoReferral Fee:AMS will pay $500 should the person you refer gets hiredJOB DESCRIPTION Our client is seeking an experienced Patent Prosecution Paralegal to support attorneys in all aspects of U.S. and international patent prosecution. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced law firm environment. ResponsibilitiesPrepare, file, and manage U.S. and international patent applications, including provisional, non-provisional, PCT, and national phase filingsDraft and file USPTO documents, including responses to Office Actions, IDSs, assignments, declarations, powers of attorney, and related correspondenceCoordinate foreign patent filings with international associates and monitor deadlinesMaintain accurate docketing of patent deadlines and ensure timely compliance with USPTO and foreign jurisdiction requirementsCommunicate with attorneys, clients, inventors, and foreign counsel regarding filing requirements and case statusMaintain and organize patent prosecution files and electronic recordsAssist with patent portfolio management, audits, and reporting as requestedQualificationsAt least five years of patent prosecution paralegal experience in a law firm environmentStrong knowledge of U.S. patent prosecution procedures and USPTO rulesExperience with international patent filings and foreign associate coordinationProficiency with USPTO Patent Center and IP docketing systemsExcellent organizational, communication, and time-management skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines with minimal supervisionPreferred QualificationsParalegal certificate or equivalent experienceExperience supporting multiple attorneys and clientsFamiliarity with patent portfolio management software
