Software Developer

INTEGRIS Engineering seeks a Software Developer with a broad technical background including front end and back end web development, database management, mobile app creation and use of project management tools. INTEGRIS is an Illinois based, engineer owned product engineering company that is making a difference by developing their own products and offering their services to other companies. We serve a wide variety of industries including startups, consumer products, aerospace, automotive and manufacturing. The successful candidate will possess a diverse set of skills and interests and will serve on multiple project teams. Work location will be in Peoria, IL. REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering is preferred. Two year technical degree will be considered. Prefer 2-5 years of web development experience. Experience with web programming technologies PHP, JavaScript, REST, XML, JSON SQL/database programming experience in an RDBMS such as MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL or Postgres Experience with Python, Perl, Groovy or other scripting language Experience programming in Java or other object-oriented language General understanding of UI/UX design principles Experience using Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure Comfortable developing in Linux Experience developing mobile apps for Android and/or iOS Experience with any of the following is useful: Electron, Node, SQLite, Angular, Bootstrap ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Strong organization, communication and presentation skills Detail oriented, with strong analytical and problem solving skills Diverse interests and skill set, with an ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment Manufacturing experience a plus Experience estimating and quoting projects FMEA and design reviews INTEGRIS does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status) Why Become an INTEGRIST?
