ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Medical Center, located in Greenville, North Carolina are seeking a BE/BC fellowship trained Neuro-Oncologist. The successful candidate will join an established multidisciplinary team that includes specialists in neurology, neurosurgery, radiosurgery, hematology oncology, radiation oncology, neuroradiology and neuropathology.
ECU Health Physicians provides state of the art care for patients in eastern North Carolina through a cancer care network of university faculty and hospital employed physicians in a hub and spoke model of care.

Established neuro-oncology program
Growing clinical neuroscience team inclusive of 10 neurosurgeons, including dual-trained cerebrovascular specialists and 20 + neurologists including an interventional neurologist, 4 vascular neurologists, 4 neurointensivists and 13 subspecialty neurologists. The subspecialties include pediatric neurology, epilepsy, movement disorders, headache, neuromuscular, sleep medicine, intraoperative monitoring and neuro-oncology.
ECU Health Medical Center has a 24-bed NSICU led by Neurointensivists as well as a 75-bed CARF accredited rehabilitation center providing inpatient and outpatient support to neurology patients
In addition to its clinical and academic expertise, ECU Health Medical Center offers an array of comprehensive brain tumor interventions, supported by state-of-the-art technology like GammaTile therapy, Gamma Knife radiosurgery, Cyberknife radiosurgery as well as innovative clinical trials that improve brain tumor knowledge, treatments and outcomes
Opportunity to participate in a 9-hospital system of cancer care with 5 COC accredited sites sharing a common medical record and planned COC Network status
Established clinical trials program through ECU Health and East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine, Members Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology
Ability to participate in the teaching and mentorship of hematology oncology fellows and neurology residents
