Warehouse Supervisor (Miami)

MUST HAVE EXPEREINCE IN FRIEGHT FORWARDING AND BONDED CARGO/DOCUMENTAIONThe Warehouse Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. This role leads a team of warehouse associates and coordinates inbound, outbound, and inventory processes within a fast-paced logistics environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations ManagementSupervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and returnsEnsure on-time and accurate order fulfillment aligned with customer requirementsMonitor workflow, staffing levels, and productivity to meet operational KPIsCoordinate with transportation, customer service, and inventory control teamsTeam LeadershipLead, train, and develop warehouse staff (pickers, packers, forklift operators)Conduct daily shift meetings and communicate performance expectationsEnforce company policies, SOPs, and safety proceduresManage attendance, scheduling, and performance evaluationsInventory & Quality ControlEnsure accurate inventory transactions and cycle countsMaintain compliance with client-specific requirements (including cGMP, FDA, or food-grade standards when applicable)Investigate and resolve inventory discrepanciesSupport continuous improvement initiativesSafety & ComplianceEnforce OSHA safety standards and company safety programsEnsure proper use of PPE and safe operation of equipmentConduct safety audits and incident investigationsMaintain a clean and organized warehouse (5S standards)Systems & ReportingUtilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for tracking and reportingMonitor KPIs such as productivity, accuracy, and on-time shippingPrepare operational reports and provide updates to managementQualificationsEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred3–5+ years of warehouse or logistics experience1–2+ years of supervisory or team lead experienceExperience in 3PL or high-volume distribution environment preferredSkills & CompetenciesStrong leadership and team management skillsKnowledge of WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Manhattan, or similar)Understanding of inventory control and warehouse processesFamiliarity with OSHA safety regulationsExperience with forklifts, RF scanners, and material handling equipmentBilingual (English/Spanish) preferred in South Florida markets
