VIKTech is seeking a fully cleared Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to work on an exciting, fast-paced program. This position will work hand-in-hand with the customer team as well as external teammates across all program security functions.Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI FS. Applications from candidates without this clearance will not be considered.Located in Maryland. Applicants must be based in Maryland or willing to commute or relocate. Applications from candidates outside the area will not be considered.Job duties/responsibilities:Conduct technical evaluation of information system design, focusing on information security aspects and accreditationUtilize various information system inspection tools to audit systems, analyze potential vulnerabilities and identify mitigation approaches to supportPerform vulnerability/risk assessment analysis to support accreditation and other program protection activitiesPrepare and review program documentation to include Risk Assessment Reports, Accreditation Packages, and security policy guidesCoordinate with external organizations and guide accreditation packages through the customer processReview requests for software installation and conduct technical risk assessment on implementation of the softwareWork closely with system administrators to validate patching, AV definitions and other security tools are updated/not vulnerableCoordinate and track security action requests and statusAssist contractors with facility designs to incorporate appropriate security features, conduct pre- accreditation inspections, and provide assistance in preparation of accreditation documentsConduct periodic assessments of contractor facilities to ensure compliance with security requirements tailoring requirements as neededAssist customer staff with resolving any operational security issues involving supporting contractorsMaintain operational security posture for the programConduct weekly auditing requirements and analyze results QualificationsQualified candidates must possess an active TS/SCI FSCASP/CISSPAt VIKTech:Medical/Dental/Vision-Employee is 100%Tuition Assistance- 5k tuition/training reimbursement per year.Roth 401k 18k maximum per employee contribution (does 10% matching (No vesting schedule payments are deposited monthly)Short Term Long Term and AD&D are covered by employerFlexible Schedules and 4 Weeks PTO8 Holidays and 2 Floating
