Position: Summer School Teacher, Emergent Bilingual, Elementary (Incoming K/1) Location: Lomax Elementary Internal applicants preferred Job Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university Valid Texas Teacher's Certificate in subject area assigned Job Description Summer School Teacher, Elementary Emergent Bilingual Other Information June 1-26 (Monday-Friday) Session Hours: 8:00 am - 2:00 pm Work day/Prep: May 29 Work Hours: 7:30 am - 2:30 pm Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Posture: Prolonged standing; frequent kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting Motion: Frequent walking Lifting: Frequent light lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling (less than 15 pounds); occasional lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling (up to 50 pounds) Environment: Work inside and outside, regular exposure to noise and the elements Mental Demands: Maintain control under stress Apply online, completing the Summer School application.
