Senior Project Planner – Data Centre Location: North Carolina (on-site) Type: Contract / Long-Term AssignmentOverview We are supporting a major programme of hyperscale data centre developments across North Carolina and are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Planner to join a high-performing delivery team on-site.You will be embedded within the project, working closely with construction, MEP and commissioning teams to manage and drive the programme across a complex, fast-paced build.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, manage and own integrated project schedules using Primavera P6Build and maintain fully logic-linked programmes from design through to commissioningInterface with construction, MEP and commissioning teams on-siteLead progress reviews, identify delays and implement mitigation strategiesCarry out critical path analysis and develop recovery plansReview and challenge subcontractor schedules and sequencingSupport commissioning, testing and handover planning (IST readiness)Deliver clear reporting to senior stakeholders and client teamsContribute to overall project controls strategy (schedule, risk, cost interface)RequirementsProven experience as a Senior Planner / Lead Planner on large-scale construction projectsStrong data centre or mission-critical project experience (hyperscale preferred)Expert-level Primavera P6 capability (P6 Pro / EPPM)Experience across full project lifecycle (design → construction → commissioning)Strong understanding of MEP sequencing and commissioning processesAbility to operate effectively in an on-site delivery environmentStrong stakeholder engagement skills — able to challenge and influenceIf interested please apply or email Aholt@optimussearch.com
