This is a direct-hire, full-time role offering an attractive base salary plus 20% commission, along with full benefits.Position: Sales EngineerLocation: Fully Remote (U.S.)Preferred Regions: Midwest or East CoastTravel: Up to 25%About The RoleThis position is ideal for someone who combines technical knowledge of power electronics with experience selling into the defense market. You would work directly with engineering teams, procurement, program managers, and military stakeholders to identify requirements and provide custom or standard power solutions.Key Responsibilities Develop and grow business with DoD, defense contractors, and industrial customers Recommend AC/DC, DC/DC, and DC/AC power conversion solutions Review RFQs/RFPs and develop proposals Support contract negotiations and sales strategy Attend customer meetings, trade shows, and defense events Partner internally with engineering and leadership teamsRequired Background 5+ years of technical sales or engineering sales experience 3+ years supporting defense industry customers Experience selling to DoD or defense contractors Strong understanding of power electronics / power conversion products Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred Ability to travel domestically up to 25%Preferred Military background Experience with MIL-STD-810, 461, 704 Existing defense industry relationships
