Heavy Equipment Master Mechanic

In this position you will be a member of Markit!’s Fleet team and you will report to the Vice President of Operations and Shop Manager.Location: Projects will be located throughout the states of Arizona and New Mexico.Travel: 80% but may be up to 100% depending on project assignment.Duties: The Heavy Equipment Master Mechanic will perform scheduled, unscheduled, preventative maintenance, and repairs on a wide variety of industrial and small engine equipment to facilitate the forestry operations of Markit! Forestry Management LLC ("Markit!"). Maintenance and repairs will happen frequently on site in high elevations and in adverse weather conditions. Work is completed year round.This position requires knowledge of maintenance, trouble-shooting, and solving complex maintenance issues.
