Senior Associate Management ConsultingThe Management Consulting (MC) is seeking a Senior Associate to be responsible for providing advanced business performance improvement and growth strategy services to clients. The Senior Associate participates in various stages of consulting engagements and helps with planning, execution, and close out. As a Senior Associate, you hold full responsibility for a project's work stream, collaborating with members from both BDO and the client's team. You frequently oversee a team and engage with a diverse range of industries. You will be part of teams, usually consisting of 3 to 5 consultants, tasked with identifying and frequently implementing viable solutions for particular client issues or challenges. Collectively, you'll assist clients in achieving sustainable enhancements to their performance and accomplishing their key objectives.Job Duties:Assists with and conducts informational interviews and facilitation of meetings with clients during engagement processDetermines necessary information to perform work on an engagementDocuments project requirements, with guidance and support of senior professionalsObtains information, documents and data from clients to support engagement deliverables, as neededDocuments and analyzes client processes with guidance and direction from senior professionalsDevelops initial deliverables and/or solutions to client issuesEvaluates client current state and assists with future state definition (process, org., technology, information/data)Executes high-quality project managementDevelops quality documentation with guidance and direction from senior professionalsAssists with preparation of meeting agendas, handouts and presentation materialsDocuments client meetings and produces a meeting summary to present to clientsLeverages templates to prepare drafts of various reports, presentations and documentationLeads others towards ethical decision makingAble to handle highly confidential client informationAssists in driving a project through the various stages of the project lifecycleSupports high quality process documentation and process designParticipates and supports client interview and documentation processSupervises and counsels' junior associates and/or internsDevelops relationships with client personnel and management membersAssists with research for and drafting of proposals, marketing materials, statement of qualifications and other practice documentationParticipates in local professional organizationsIdentifies and understands business development opportunities through industry and networking relationships, and works with leaders to pursue such opportunitiesPartners with peers in other business lines to identify and promote the services of the Management Consulting practices to existing and prospective clients, in addition to identifying cross-selling opportunities to other BDO business linesOn operational due diligence projects: synergy or deal value driver analysis, and operational risk identificationOn integration projects: integration strategy definition, and integration planning and executionOn carve-out projects: stand-alone cost analysis, carve-out strategy definition, carve-out planning and execution, and Transition Services Agreement (TSA) definitionOn PE-related projects: 100-day and value creation planning and executionOther duties, as requiredSupervisory Responsibilities:Coordinates tasks and project assignments with other Seniors, as necessaryReviews work products prepared by other Associates, and provides review comments and edits, as necessaryProvides leaders within the practice verbal and written performance feedback on other Seniors, as necessaryProvides coaching to other Associates by providing real-time and on-the-job insight and training, as necessarySupports a collaborative and team-oriented environment, while encouraging strong results and quality workQualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Bachelor's degree, required;
