Must be familiar with Lighthouse Ministries' policies and procedures.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Secure building and doors as instructedHourly make rounds to ensure the well-being of all occupants of the buildingKnow how to handle any issues with any occupants of the buildingHandle within the boundaries set any incidents possibly communicating with law enforcement or medical treatmentHandle any exterior traffic that may occurComplete incident reports, accident reports and/or disciplinary forms when necessary and report them immediately to the Campus Director and Shelter ChaplainAttend staff meetings and perform other duties as requested and necessaryMay be required to assist or perform drug testing or breathalyzer individuals in the facilityDocument case notes for clients in Residents Program. appointments, doctor/dental appointments ext.Meet with Residents when possible and update case notes with Mission TrackerCheck and return guest possessions upon check out in the morningsSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:Committed Christian, able and willing to model servant-leadership and interested in being part of a ministry that ministers to the addicted, poor, and homeless.Grounded in the Christian faith as a mature, active member of the body of ChristStrong interpersonal skills, collaborative, able to work effectively with diverse groups of peopleKnowledge of recovery, addiction, and mental illnessGood communication skills Written, verbal and instructionalAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while achieving program outcomes and meeting deadlinesAdaptable, flexible, honest and perceptiveComputer literate - proficient in word, excel, and internetAccurate and precise; good manual dexterity and eye-hand coordinationMust be honest, have integrity and a strong work ethicValid Florida driver's licenseAbout Lighthouse Ministries:Lighthouse Ministries is committed to giving hope that changes lives through transformational relationship with Jesus Christ.
