Our organization is privately owned, community-focused, and dedicated to ethical business practices. Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and energetic Material Handler to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement, storage, and shipment of materials within our warehouse. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth warehouse operations, accurate inventory management, and adherence to safety protocols. Responsibilities Perform a variety of simple and routine helper duties in assigned work area. Follow instructions of the individual or machine operator to whom assigned. Duties require the use of hoist, grinder, pry bar, hooks, slings and other similar equipment. Help machine operator set up, operate and change or adjust machine, attachments, and associated equipment. At times, operate the machine as set up and adjusted by the operator and under the immediate instruction of the operator. Help to lift, move, load, position and transport material into, out of and at the designated work area. Use grinder, hammer, chisel, wrenches, etc. as instructed. Use care in helping others in the handling of material. Help maintain the machines, work area, tools and equipment in a clean, proper and orderly manner. Follow Company safety guidelines at all time. Detect faulty operation of equipment and/or defective material. Refer all questionable cases to the supervisor. Perform duties in adherence of quality and quantity of work requirements.
