Job Description Machinist – 2nd ShiftShift: 4:00 PM – 3:00 AMWe are looking for a skilled Machinist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will produce precision metal components using CNC and manual machining equipment while working from blueprints and detailed specifications.This is a great opportunity for a machinist who enjoys working in a job shop environment where projects vary from small batches to larger production runs.What You'll DoSet up and operate CNC and manual machine toolsProduce precision metal parts according to blueprints and specificationsDetermine proper machine speeds, feeds, and toolingMonitor machining operations to ensure quality and accuracyInspect finished parts using precision measuring toolsPerform basic preventive maintenance and housekeepingCommunicate with team members to ensure production goals are metFollow all safety procedures and company standardsWhat We're Looking ForExperience in machining or CNC operationsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and geometric tolerancesExperience in a job shop environment is a plusCNC setup experience preferredCNC programming experience is a plusKnowledge of machining tools and accessories such as:Tool holdersCutting toolsInsertsBoring barsFixturesExperience using precision measuring tools including:CalipersMicrometersDepth gaugesIndicatorsStrong math skills and attention to detailCommitment to safety and quality workmanshipWork EnvironmentClimate-controlled manufacturing facilityWork around CNC machinery and machining equipmentExposure to machine coolant and shop chemicalsConcrete floors and regular forklift trafficModerate machine noisePhysical RequirementsStanding or sitting for extended periodsFrequent reaching, grasping, and repetitive hand movementsLifting up to 25 lbs occasionallyBending, twisting, or climbing platforms as neededCompany DescriptionLabor Solutions, LLC is a leader in the professional, temporary, and direct hire industry throughout the Midwest area.
