The Opportunity The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for selling KLN branded and/or manufactured products or services within their assigned territory. Territory Sales Manager at Tuffy's Pet Foods will achieve their sales target goals through effective management of their assigned territory, physical visits to distributors and retailers as appropriate, the continued development of consumer relations and activities such as trade shows, cold calls and other business networking. Territory Sales Managers are expected to maintain a professional image of the company and its products at all times. Integrity, passion and drive are a must. Strong communication and interpersonal skill sets are essential in this position.Business travel is required with this position and majority of time in this position will be spent travelingResponsibilitiesConduct a minimum of 15 in person calls per week.Perform professional presentations or demonstrations of company products or services while on site.Penetrate all target accounts and develop incremental growth with current customers.Seek new accounts to open and grow the businessExpand growth in all categories of our product catalogDevelop a working knowledge of the industry and our products to deliver our unique selling propositions and overcome objections.Participate in joint meetings with distributor representatives to uncover new market opportunities and relay current brand strategiesParticipate in occasional “ride alongs” with distributor reps to foster good distributor relationships and creative new business opportunities.Build and foster a network of referrals, industry relations and professional organizations to create new opportunities for revenue growth.CRM reporting accurate and timely, full utilizationMake front line assessments of industry conditions and advise Sales Management of findings.
