This position will assist with the preventative maintenance and repair of BSP facilities, park elements, equipment and vehicles. Working in conjunction with the Director of Maintenance will complete daily check lists prior to the operation of park including, but not limited to, buildings, play elements, park equipment, and/or vehicles. This position will ensure the park’s quality standards, both front and back of house, are maintained to a high benchmark level of quality.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:To support park-wide Safety Program and Safety Culture as it pertains to equipment and safe work practicesAdheres to preventative maintenance schedule for equipment, performs repairs or escalates as necessary, reports necessary changesExperience diagnosing, repairing, upgrading, and customizing golf cartsMaintain a “can-do” attitude and creatively solve problems in a financially efficient mannerEffectively maintain park’s equipment green-tagging and red-tagging certification and tracking proceduresEnsure safety guidelines and documentation are followed including but not limited to: Lock Out/Tag Out, PPE, Electrical Safety, Confined Space, etc.Ensure mandatory OSHA training guidelines and documentation are followedProactively communicate needs for parts inventory and par levels of long lead time itemsMust demonstrate competent knowledge in managing electrical, HVAC and plumbing needsComplete all necessary logs of repairs and corrective actionsCompetent in use of basic hand tools and power toolsWork with third-party service contractors including horticulture, HVAC service, elevator, etc.Conduct all business in a moral and ethical manner leaving no room to question the integrity of the park or its staffWorks professionally with park management, team members and park guestsOther duties as assigned or requiredQualifications:Basic Qualifications And SkillsMust be flexible regarding scheduling based on business demands, including nights, weekends and Holidays as neededHigh School diploma or equivalentMinimum 1 year experience in general maintenance, HVAC, plumbing or electrical system maintenanceFlexibility regarding scheduling based on business demandsDesired Qualifications And Traits Expert at hands-on equipment maintenanceAbility to multi-task and prioritize a variety of tasks with minimal directionCompetent knowledge in repair and maintenance of:Electrical up to 240vacHVACPlumbingGas & Electrical powered equipmentProven teamwork skillsRequirements:Pass a background check and mandatory drug testPhysical Demands:Able to lift up to 50 lbs.Able to bend, stretch, and twistAble to stand for long periods of time
