Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Custom Cabinet Shop Manager to oversee daily operations of our cabinet shop, manage production workflow, and ensure high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with custom cabinetry as well as stock cabinet lines, and the ability to lead a team while balancing production schedules, quality control, and profitability.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day operations of the cabinet shop, including production scheduling and workflowOversee custom cabinetry projects from design review through fabrication and installationManage ordering, handling, and integration of stock cabinet lines alongside custom workLead, train, and supervise shop staff, installers, and subcontractors as neededEnsure quality control standards are met for both custom and stock cabinetryCoordinate with designers, sales staff, and clients to meet project specifications and deadlinesMonitor materials, inventory, and equipment maintenanceEnforce shop safety standards and best practicesAssist with estimating, job costing, and process improvements to improve efficiency and profitabilityQualifications5+ years of experience in cabinetry or woodworking, including custom cabinetryProven experience working with stock cabinet lines (ordering, modifications, installation coordination)Prior management or supervisory experience in a cabinet shop or similar environmentStrong understanding of cabinet construction methods, materials, and finishesAbility to read and interpret shop drawings and specificationsExcellent organizational, communication, and leadership skillsProblem-solving mindset with attention to detail and qualityPreferred SkillsExperience with CNC equipment and/or cabinet design softwareKnowledge of installation practices and field coordinationFamiliarity with job costing and production efficiency metricsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive pay based on experience
