With clients in the US and abroad, we hold key contract vehicles including GSA IT Schedule 70, NIH CIO-SP3, GSA Alliant, and DHS-Eagle II.Join us in driving growth and seizing new business opportunities!Background:We are seeking a Senior Computer Systems Engineer / Architect to serve as the senior technical authority for a complex federal identity and biometric technology environment.The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of specialized IT experience with strong expertise in enterprise architecture, systems engineering, technology modernization, and complex database or mission-critical technology environments.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the senior technical expert responsible for the evolution, modernization, and long-term sustainability of enterprise technology solutions.Evaluate existing technologies and identify opportunities for modernization, enhancement, and technology refresh.Conduct technical reviews, architecture assessments, and technology trade studies to evaluate emerging technologies and determine appropriate solutions.Assess future technology and service requirements and develop recommendations to support evolving mission needs.Work closely with engineering, architecture, development, infrastructure, security, and business stakeholders.Provide technical leadership and guidance for system evolution and modernization decisions.Identify technology risks, dependencies, and potential obsolescence and recommend mitigation strategies.Ensure architecture and technology decisions support scalability, maintainability, security, and long-term operational needs.Required Qualifications10+ years of relevant specialized IT experience.Strong experience in systems engineering, enterprise architecture, or technical architecture.Experience evaluating complex enterprise technology environments.Experience with technology modernization, system evolution, and technology refresh initiatives.Strong technical analysis and technology trade-off evaluation skills.Experience with large-scale IT, database systems, identity management, biometrics, or other mission-critical systems is highly desirable.Excellent technical communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.How to Apply:To apply for the Senior Computer Systems Engineer / Architect role, please submit your resume to ashaikh@citi-us.com.Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
