Travel Operating Room RN in Kennebunk, ME

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room to support surgical services in Kennebunk, ME. This travel assignment spans 13 weeks, offering a chance to bring your orthopedic expertise to a dynamic OR team in a well-regarded healthcare setting.Key Responsibilities:Provide exceptional perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room environment.Perform circulating and scrub duties during orthopedic surgical procedures.Collaborate closely with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.Respond to call as needed, supporting urgent and emergent cases.Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to timecard and compliance policies.Qualifications and Desired Experience:Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.Current BLS and ACLS certifications (mandatory).Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, specifically in orthopedic surgery within the OR.Proven skills in both circulating and scrub roles.Strong communication skills and attention to detail, particularly in timecard management.Schedule:36 hours per week.Monday through Thursday.Four 9-hour shifts from 6:45 am to 4:15 pm.On-call availability as required.Location Highlights: Kennebunk, Maine, offers a picturesque coastal setting featuring beautiful beaches, charming local shops, and numerous outdoor activities including hiking and water sports.
