To Discover more, please visit our website at http://www.fnsusa.com Employment: Full Time Location: 18620 Harmon Ave., Carson, CA 90746 Responsibilities Plan and Coordinate Shipments: Arrange the transportation of goods via air, sea, or land transport according to customer needs and cargo specifications. Manage Documentation: Prepare and oversee all necessary shipment documentation including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations. Negotiate with Carriers: Secure the most cost-effective and efficient shipping methods by negotiating rates and terms with carriers. Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to international trade laws, customs requirements, and safety standards for all shipments. Communicate with Clients: Act as the primary contact for clients, providing shipment updates, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues. Resolve Problems: Address shipment delays, damaged goods, or customs complications swiftly to ensure smooth operations. Track and Report: Monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and provide regular updates to clients and management. Manage Inventory: Collaborate with warehouses and logistics partners to manage inventory levels and ensure proper storage and handling of goods. Control Costs: Oversee transportation costs, identify opportunities for cost reduction, and ensure accurate billing and invoicing. Qualifications Experience: Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or related fields preferred. Skills: Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in logistics and supply chain management software. In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures. Proven ability to negotiate effectively and solve problems efficiently. The base salary range for this role is between $22 - $28 hourly, and your base salary will depend on your experiences, qualifications, and skills.
