Fiber Splicer

Currently, we are actively seeking a skilled Fiber Splicer to join us, EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. Integrity and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential qualities we look for in potential candidates. Responsibilities for a Fiber Splicer: Interpret splice schematics, prints, maps, and work orders proficiently. Maintain accurate daily production records and as-built documentation. Set up various enclosures such as Preform Coyote Closures, FOSC 450D, and FOSC 600 cases. Perform splicing of both single fiber and ribbon fiber up to 864F. Conduct fiber optic cable testing using OTDRs and other test equipment. Occasionally work nights during scheduled cutovers. Participate in an on-call rotation for outages and emergencies. Requirements & Qualifications: Previous experience in fiber splicing is required. Must possess a valid driver's license. Proficient in driving and backing a truck with trailer.
