Job DescriptionAbout this role:As an Advanced Practice Provider in Neurosurgery, you will work with a large system-wide team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. The neurosurgery team at St. George Regional Hospital currently has 3 neurosurgeons, and 7 neurosurgery advanced practice providers. Neurosurgery is part of a larger neurosciences team at St. George, including neurohospitalists, inpatient and outpatient physical medicine physicians, outpatient neurology providers, and pain specialists.St. George Regional Hospital is a level II trauma facility with a Primary Stroke Center and is Joint Commission accredited as a Spine Center of Excellence.In this role, you can anticipate:Practicing at St. George Regional Hospital in St. George, Utah4 10-hour shifts per week; split between clinic, hospital, and ORCall 1:6-8 weeks, including nights and weekends (additional compensation offered)Working alongside neurosurgeons while also seeing patients independently in clinicRounding on patients independently and in conjunction with a supervising physicianAssessing, evaluating, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans for patients with neurological conditionsEducating patients on conditions, treatment options, and risk factor modificationsAn ideal candidate for this position will have prior APP experience and thrive in a dynamic, patient-oriented environment.How we'll support you:We care about your well-being which is why we provide our caregivers a generous benefits package.
