Job Title: Medical Information Specialist IVLocation: Plainsboro - Hybrid (3 days onsite) is Preferred, but manager will consider remote for a candidate that meets ALL must have/nice to have.Duration: 7 Months + Possible extensionMust Have: 1. Med Info experience 2. Clinical experience is a plus if no Medical Info experience 3. Strong written/verbal communication skillsNice to Have: Prior experience in endocrinology or hemostasis therapy areas preferredESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Provides verbal, written, and on-demand video responses to unsolicited medical and technical inquiries about Novo Nordisk products from HCPs, institutions, and/or payors Creates and/or revises standard and custom medical information responses for use in responding to existing and anticipated medical and technical inquiries from HCPs Assists field medical colleagues who receive unsolicited inquiries and request medical information support Revises and/or adds to content in comprehensive evidence-based medical information (e.g., clinical overviews, formulary dossiers, online evidence repository) Ensures compliance with FDA requirements as they affect Medical Communications; responses must be accurate, up-to-date, balanced, and scientific. As needed, provides review for Promotional Review Board pieces containing relevant medical content.QUALIFICATIONS:BS within a medical discipline with a minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience OR PharmD/MD/DO with a minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience (e.g. academic, clinical or industry experience); post-doctoral fellowship may be substituted for professional experience, as appropriateDetail-oriented with demonstrated editorial skillsLiterature search and assessment skillsPrior experience in endocrinology or hemostasis therapy areas preferredStrong presentation skills (knowledge of PowerPoint required)Compunnel Inc. is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer committed to fostering an inclusive, diverse, and equitable workplace.
