The Role
We're growing and looking for an IT Generalist to join our team! This is an on-site role based in our Denver office, and you'll be a key part of keeping our technology infrastructure running smoothly. You'll support our employees day-to-day, manage hardware and IT assets, assist with onboarding & offboarding, and help maintain the systems and tools that keep A2Z Sync operating at its best. What You'll DoIdentity & Access Management
Support the administration of Okta Single Sign-On (SSO) and assist with user provisioning and de-provisioning across applications
Help maintain Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) policies to ensure employees have the right level of access
Assist with the configuration and upkeep of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office 365
Endpoint & Device Management
Support endpoint protection efforts using Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools such as Entra or Mosyle
Assist in monitoring Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools (e.g., SentinelOne) and flagging potential issues
Troubleshoot Mac and PC issues by analyzing system logs, event data, and diagnostic information
IT Asset Management
Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets — laptops, monitors, peripherals, and accessories
Receive, configure, tag, and deploy hardware for new hires and equipment refresh cycles
Coordinate repairs, warranty claims, and hardware returns with vendors
Manage secure device offboarding, including data wipe and hardware return processes
Office & AV Support
Serve as the on-site point of contact for day-to-day office IT needs — printers, networking, cabling, and workspace setup
Set up and maintain conference room AV equipment, including displays and video conferencing systems
New Hire Onboarding & Employee Offboarding
Prepare and configure workstations (Mac/PC) ahead of a new hire's start date
Conduct in-person IT orientation, covering account setup, security basics, and equipment walkthroughs
Ensure all access, software, and hardware is ready on Day 1
Manage the full offboarding process for departing employees — including confirming all system and application access has been revoked, wiping devices, and coordinating equipment return via shipping labels and logistics
AI-Augmented IT Operations
Use AI tools — including Claude (Anthropic), ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot — to draft IT documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles
Leverage AI to research error codes, troubleshoot issues faster, and surface recommended fixes
Assist with scripting and automation tasks using AI-generated code, with proper review and testing before deployment
Stay current on emerging AI capabilities and look for opportunities to integrate them into everyday IT workflows
General IT Support
Respond to helpdesk tickets and provide in-person and remote technical support to employees
Monitor and report on IT service desk metrics such as ticket resolution rates and response times
Collaborate with Security Operations and other IT team members to ensure seamless system integration
Requirements
What You Bring
2+ years of experience in an IT support or systems administration role
Working knowledge of SSO solutions, particularly Okta, and familiarity with Google Workspace
Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud platforms
Familiarity with EDR and MDM solutions (e.g., SentinelOne, Mosyle, Entra)
Familiarity with Microsoft Entra concepts, including Azure Active Directory and Conditional Access
Experience with IT asset management — procurement, inventory tracking, and hardware lifecycle
Comfort using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot in day-to-day workflows
Strong troubleshooting skills with a hands-on, proactive approach
Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, on-site environment
