Kindergarten Teacher
Description The Clintonville Public School District is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Kindergarten Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment and deliver engaging instruction aligned with state academic standards. This position involves teaching core subjects, supporting diverse learners, and collaborating with staff and families to promote student success. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement engaging curriculum aligned to relevant Common Core and State standards. - Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment - Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs of all students - Assess and monitor student learning, providing feedback and adjusting instruction accordingly - Communicate effectively with families and staff regarding student progress - Contribute positively to a collaborative school culture Qualifications: - Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education - Valid Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) teaching certification in Elementary Education for Kindergarten (1088 or 1777) - Strong understanding of relevant Common Core/State standards - Experience working with elementary-aged students - Strong classroom management, organizational, and communication skills - Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to team-based planning. Salary and benefits are determined by the Board of Education as per negotiated salary terms.
