Job Description
Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Education, active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, and a minimum 1+ years BCBA experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Make an impact supporting students with severe disabilities and autism (ages 2–22) as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year near Dover, DE. This is a full-time, onsite contract opportunity providing vital services in a school setting.Key Qualifications:Current, active Delaware BCBA licensure/certification required. Submit proof with your application.Prior experience working as a BCBA in a school-based environment highly preferred.Background supporting students with severe disabilities and autism spectrum disorders.Demonstrated expertise conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Support Plans (BSPs).Crisis intervention and de-escalation skills, with experience serving on crisis teams.Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with staff, students, and IEP teams.Reliable transportation to and from the assigned school site.Responsibilities:Deliver behavior analytic services onsite, Monday–Friday (37.5 hours/week) throughout the full academic year.Serve as a key member of the crisis team and respond as needed to de-escalate challenging situations.Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and create data-driven Behavior Support Plans (BSPs).Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop IEP behavior goals and monitor progress.Support staff in implementing behavioral interventions and collect relevant data.Foster a positive, supportive environment that enables students to thrive academically and socially.This contract position offers the chance to be a valued resource for students and educators, contributing expertise that makes a meaningful difference every day.
