Lead Electrical Engineer
A global medical technology leader is looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer to join their R&D department focused on new product development for both capital and disposable medical devices. This is a full time position involving advanced hardware design in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams. This role is onsite 4 days per week, 1 day remote.Required Skills & ExperienceBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering 8+ years of relevant experience in developing new products, ideally in the medical device sector Hands-on expertise with schematic design tools (Altium preferred) Deep familiarity with common electrical test and development equipment (oscilloscopes, LCR meters, logic analyzers, power supplies) Extensive knowledge in analog/digital circuit design, PCB design, and manufacturing processes Experience with sensor integration, FPGAs/CPLDs, and microcontrollers Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve PCB failures Desired Skills & ExperienceKnowledge of radiofrequency energy generation and control Understanding of IEC 60601 regulatory standards Strategic thinking and ability to evaluate product risks and opportunities Ability to bridge hardware/software engineering teams What You Will Be DoingTech Breakdown45% Design and analysis of electrical/electronic systems 45% PCB and subsystem development 10% Regulatory and compliance review Daily Responsibilities80% Hands On 5% Management Duties 15% Team Collaboration The OfferYou Will Receive The Following BenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Vacation Time 401k Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.Posted By: Kaylyn Romano
