Partnering with school districts nationwide, our dropout recovery and student re-engagement programs are supported by cutting-edge technology and a commitment to compassionate, impactful teaching.The Role The State Testing Coordinator leads all site-based testing coordination and execution, ensuring each testing window is organized, efficient, and fully compliant with Florida Department of Education requirements. This role is responsible for driving strong participation across FAST assessments, End of Course exams, and concordant score opportunities, while maintaining accurate tracking and ensuring Graduation Candidates are prepared, scheduled, and supported throughout the testing process.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain a statewide testing implementation calendar aligned with FAST PM1, PM2, PM3, EOC, ACT/SAT, CLT, and concordant score opportunities. Monitor participation and completion rates for all required state assessments across academies. Lead statewide testing readiness reviews before each major testing window. Create and maintain standardized testing readiness checklists for academy leaders and site coordinators. Identify and track accountability risk indicators, including participation gaps, testing compliance issues, and performance concerns. Establish statewide monitoring systems for bubble students and learning gains indicators. Collaborate with academy leadership to implement targeted intervention plans for students at risk of not meeting graduation testing requirements. Ensure academies follow all Florida testing security protocols and compliance requirements. Provide training and guidance to site-based Testing Coordinators. Help develop dashboards or reporting tools to monitor testing participation, performance trends, and compliance metrics. QualificationsBachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in a school-based or academic setting Experience supporting or coordinating Florida state testing, assessments, or school operations strongly preferred Knowledge of Florida assessment programs, accountability requirements, and concordant score pathways Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities during testing windows Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and compliance Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with staff and leadership Comfort working with data tracking tools and basic reporting What Success Looks LikeStrong participation and completion rates across all Florida testing windows Testing is executed smoothly, on schedule, and in full compliance with Florida Department of Education requirements Make-up testing is planned and completed quickly, minimizing missed testing opportunities Graduation Candidates requiring support are identified early and scheduled appropriately Accurate and timely submission of all required state testing documentation and reporting Improved performance outcomes, including increased proficiency and learning gains Why Join Us?At Acceleration Academies, you will be part of a team focused on helping Graduation Candidates reach one of the most important milestones in their lives.
