Full Stack Engineer

Hybrid (On-site 3x/week, Tues–Thurs) - Austin, TX$65-84/hrAbout the RoleWe're looking for a hands‐on Full Stack Architect to design, build, and evolve scalable web systems end‐to‐end. This is more than coding, you'll own system architecture from concept through production, balancing performance, scalability, security, and developer experience. You'll work closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to turn ambiguous problems into clear, maintainable solutions.ResponsibilitiesArchitect and implement full‐stack web applications and APIs, owning the system lifecycle from design to productionCollaborate with Product and Design to clarify requirements, identify constraints, and evolve architecture as needs changeMake and defend architectural decisions, articulating tradeoffs between approaches (monolith vs microservices, API boundaries, data modeling)Write high‐quality, testable code, and review peer code with an architectural perspectiveDefine and maintain system boundaries for frontend applications, backend services, and APIsDeploy containerized services using modern CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructureResearch and evaluate new technologies, develop proofs of concept, and introduce improvements grounded in engineering principlesContribute to technical standards, documentation, and long‐term platform strategyProvide intelligent feedback and insights from architecture, development, QA, AI, and security perspectivesDiscuss recent projects in detail and articulate design decisions clearlyQualificationsUS Citizens only, or Green Card holders with 9-10 years of US experience (strong communication skills required)10+ years of experience designing and delivering production‐grade web systemsDeep expertise in React, TypeScript, Node.js, and strong backend development skillsExperience designing distributed systems and evolving architecture over timeHands‐on experience deploying containerized services to AWS or Google CloudSolid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)Must have no recent experience in banking, insurance, healthcare, or government (past 5–6 years); top SaaS or SaaS + startup experience preferredProven ability to:Design systems from first principleExplain differences between APIs, backend services, and frontend interfaces, and determine when to combine or separate themCommunicate complex technical concepts clearly and confidentlyExcellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable collaborating across engineering, product, and designHighly organized, detail‐oriented, and able to thrive in fast‐paced environments#J-18808-Ljbffr
