*Job Overview* We are seeking a Data Analyst / Analytics Developer to support logistics and financial analysis within a DoD environment. This is an opportunity to contribute directly to mission-critical decision-making through data analytics and automation. The selected candidate will work on-site at the Pentagon, collaborating closely with Army and government personnel to develop, maintain, and enhance analytical tools and reporting solutions supporting supply chain, sustainment, and resource management decisions. This is a small-firm role with real responsibility. You will own deliverables, work directly with the client, and be expected to solve problems independently. We do not expect every qualification below on day one. A strong candidate with most of the blocks checked and the aptitude to close the gaps quickly will be competitive. *Key Responsibilities* * Develop and deliver dashboards, data visualizations, and BI solutions (Power BI) supporting Army logistics and sustainment analysis. * Design and develop data models integrating supply chain, maintenance, readiness, and financial data. * Identify and incorporate data sources from legacy and modern systems into unified analytical solutions. * Build Power Apps and Power Automate solutions to replace manual workflows and data calls. * Automate data processing and recurring reporting using Python, SQL, and the Microsoft ecosystem. * Design and implement scripts to streamline data collection and processing. * Apply AI tools to accelerate development and analysis. This is expected practice, not an afterthought. * Collaborate with senior military and civilian leaders to understand analytical needs and deliver tailored solutions. * Conduct occasional training sessions to enhance the analytical capabilities of team members. Qualifications & Requirements *Required:* * U.S. citizenship with an active Secret security clearance. Uncleared candidates will only be considered in exceptional cases: expect to demonstrate outstanding technical ability and a clean, straightforward path to clearance eligibility. * Ability to work on-site at the Pentagon (Arlington, VA) the majority of the week. * Strong programming and database fundamentals: Python and SQL. * Proficiency creating dashboards and visualizations (Power BI preferred; Tableau or Qlik acceptable). * Strong Microsoft proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint), including exposure to Power Apps and Power Automate. * Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently under tight deadlines. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including comfort engaging senior leadership. * Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, technical, or related field. *Highly preferred (will train the right candidate):* * Experience with Army or DoD logistics and sustainment processes (supply chain, maintenance, readiness, distribution). * Experience with DoD financial management and accounting processes. * Experience with Army logistics, finance, and data analytics systems such as GCSS-Army, GFEBS, LMP, Army Vantage, Advana / War Data Platform (WDP), EDA, or WAWF. * Experience with PySpark or large-scale data processing. * Power Platform depth (Power Apps, Power Automate, DAX, Power Query/M). *Why Join Us?* * Work on impactful projects directly supporting Army logistics operations and headquarters decision-making. * Small team, no bureaucracy.
