Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health / Outreach (NYC)

Immediate need – actively interviewing and onboarding candidates! Overview:We are seeking Registered Nurses with behavioral health or psychiatric experience to support a field-based outreach program across New York City. This role focuses on providing medical and mental health support to underserved populations in community settings. Key Responsibilities:• Provide basic medical care and behavioral health support in field settings• Engage with individuals experiencing homelessness or mental health challenges• Work collaboratively with outreach teams and city agencies• Maintain accurate documentation and follow care protocols• Respond to crisis situations with professionalism and care Work Environment:• Field-based (subways, streets, public spaces)• Team-based approach (not working alone)• In partnership with city agencies (e.g., NYPD, transit teams) Schedule:• Overnight shifts available• Options include: 8:00 PM – 4:00 AM 12:00 AM – 5:00 AM• 4–5 days per week Requirements:• Active RN license (NY)• Behavioral health / psychiatric experience preferred• Crisis intervention or mental health exposure strongly preferred• Comfortable working in non-traditional, field-based environments• Strong communication and emotional resilience Compensation:• Competitive hourly rate• Opportunity to make meaningful community impact If you’re someone who is driven to make a meaningful difference in the community and bring compassionate care to those who need it most, this is a unique opportunity to do just that.
