Essential Responsibilities and Duties*: Ability to sort and organize rail cars Ability to couple and uncouple cars Ability to scale trucks in and out Inspecting equipment for safety and maintenance issues Ability to operate switches and signals Communicate directions and needs with other yard personnel and train crews. Assist in loading and unloading freight Operate forklifts as needed (experience is a plus) Enforce proper housekeeping practices and maintain a clean and organized yard, free from debris, spills, and waste Support operators with various tasks as required Perform special projects and execute other duties as assigned by management Requirements: Basic Knowledge of Microsoft 365 High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. MUST BE SELF-MOTIVATED AND HARD WORKING. Ability to avoid distractions during working hours, exp: stay off cell phone. Must be able to lift 50 LBS, multiple times per day with or without accommodation. Must satisfy background check and drug screen criteria. Must possess a Valid Driver's License. Why Should You Apply?
