Bartender – JuXi Restaurant Location: Alameda, CA Type: Part-time / Full-time Pay: $17.76/hr + tips About JuXi JuXi (pronounced juicy/joo-see) is a Cantonese-inspired restaurant in the heart of Alameda, named after the parents of our chef and owner. Our food represents a new generation of Cantonese+American cooking, rooted in the flavors we grew up with and shaped by our lives in Alameda. Some dishes stay close to tradition, while others draw inspiration from the Bay Area's diverse food culture. What You’ll Do: Mix and serve beer, wine, sake, and craft cocktails to spec Greet bar and dining guests, take food and drink orders, and provide menu knowledge Keep the bar area clean, stocked, and organized throughout service Handle cash and credit transactions accurately using our POS system Assist with bar prep, batching, garnish, and weekly inventory Support servers during rushes and collaborate with the Lead Bartender on specials Maintain a welcoming, upbeat bar atmosphere What We’re Looking For: 1+ year bartending experience preferred. Strong barback/service experience considered Working knowledge of classic cocktails and willingness to learn our house recipes CA Food Handler Card and RBS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of hire Friendly, guest-focused attitude with strong multitasking skills Must be able to stand for 6-8 hour shifts, lift 40 lbs, and work nights/weekends Team player who stays calm under pressure Perks: Competitive hourly pay plus plus tips Staff meal Hands-on training with our Lead Bartender and opportunities to contribute to new cocktails Fun, supportive crew and regular staff tastings More detail about JuXi, please visit
